Mango Languages

The Fort Saskatchewan Public Library now offers the Mango Languages online language-learning system free to its patrons!

Mango offers a fast and convenient solution for the community’s increasing language-learning needs. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions.  Users learn actual conversation, breaking down complex conversational elements within an audio-visual framework that allows the user to draw important connections between pieces of information they have already learned.

The courses, which require only two to five hours to complete, are currently available in 34 foreign languages and 15 English as a Second Language (ESL) courses.

To learn more about Mango and get a preview of what the program has to offer, stop by the library for an introduction. You can also access Mango, remotely from anywhere, via the library website at Mango Languages.

Alberta Municipal Affairs provided funding for free access to Mango Language Learning Software to every Alberta library.
