Placing Holds
You
may place an item on hold for pickup at the Fort
Saskatchewan Public Library or Strathcona County Library,
or add your name to the waiting list for popular items.
Holds can be placed by telephone, from the library’s
computers, or from your home computer. If you need
assistance please ask staff at the Circulation Desk or
call 998-4275.
You
will receive a phone call from the library's automated

FAQs
Is there a limit on the number of items I can place on
hold?
At
present there is a limit of 50 items per patron. However, we do suggest you
impose a limit on yourself. You may receive several items
at once and not be able to read them all because of time
restraints.
Do I need to bring my library card to pick up a hold?
Yes,
and if there is more than one library card in your
household, please bring in the same card you used when
placing the hold. You will receive faster service.
