If no one else is waiting for the item you have borrowed, you can renew up to two times. Bestsellers and DVDs cannot be renewed.

 There are several ways to renew materials.

1. Renew your items in person at the Fort Saskatchewan Public Library or the Strathcona County Library.
2. Renew online through our web site.
3. Telephone the Fort Saskatchewan Public Library at 998-4275 to have a staff member renew your items for you  (Strathcona County items cannot be renewed by telephone.)

To renew materials online:

1. Click on My Account from the buttons at the top of the screen.
2. Click the link for the online catalogue.
3. Click on "Patron Information" (left hand side of the screen), and enter your library barcode, last 4 digits of your phone number or your PIN if you have one.
4. Click on Items Out (left hand side of the screen).
5. Highlight the material you would like to renew.
6. Click on "Renew".

The materials will be extended by one additional loan period from the time you entered the renewal.
